September Update: New Single, Merch Store, and International plans!

Hey everyone!

It has been SOOOOOO great to finally get back out on tour and travel the world to see and perform for you all! I have been working very hard to make this new album a success and to guarantee its release in as many countries as possible. There are so many exciting things coming up that it’s hard to even sit still! My new single has just been released to radio here in the US and it’s called “Without You”. The reactions so far have been great and with all of your help I know we’re gonna make this song a bigger hit than “Tonight” was here. So please head to the Promotions section of one of my favorite fan sites; www.alexmaxband.com, and find your local radio station on the list and call them like crazy to request “Without You”!! I’m back home now for a little break while I rehearse for my upcoming sold out tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this tour! It’s gonna rock. And soon after that tour I will be starting to travel to other countries to do promo for the “Tonight” single release. Some of these countries that EMI have confirmed with me for release are South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Holland, Mexico and Brazil. Many more to come! I’ll be working the new single here in the US starting after my Europe tour next month, and also starting to travel to all these new countries as well to do promotions there. Crazy crazy times!

Something else really exciting I wanted to let you all know about is my very new Merch store that I created and designed myself. Up until now I had been working with a company called Audiolife that controlled my merch store for me and sent out all the packages for those of you who ordered. It’s been brought to my attention by many of you that this company had been sending the wrong things to you, or not completing your orders and that they have also been non responsive when you try to reach them. So I decided to cut out the middleman and do it all myself with help from friends. The all-new “Alex Band Merch Store” is completely controlled by myself and I will make sure that each one of your orders is completed professionally and sent to you fast and with the utmost care. And also now that I’m in charge, I have added all kinds of cool new things like special personalized signed head shots, T-shirts, shorts, hoodies, key chains, and even a whole digital download song section where I will be putting up for sale new songs I write and record the second they’re finished. I think it’ll be really cool to share them all with you! And finally, I’ve added a crazy contest for those of you who buy the signed version of my new album. Oh... speaking about the new store, check out this interesting news: I'll soon be buying a whole bunch of stickers so that I can give them to "The Sticker Bandit"! What... You haven't heard about him? OK then, I'll briefly fill you in on him and about the real cool devious but awesome plan that he has devised. He's a mystery man; and his plan is to dress up in Alex Band attire purchased from the new store, and then; while wearing a facemask that's a replica of the new CD cover, he's going to strategically attack the music departments of stores everywhere, including one's like Walmart, just so that he can place Alex Band Stickers there to advertize WABT! I'm sure you'll be hearing a lot about him in the near future, so stay tuned!
